AnyDesk Update July 2026: New Features and Bug Fixes for Android, Windows, and macOS

The update of AnyDesk on July 22, 2026, introduces a variety of enhancements and bug fixes across its versions for Android, Windows, and macOS.

New Features

For Android (version 8.5.0):

• New plugins have been added, and roster views are now fully collapsible for improved organization.
• In the Assembly module, @everyone mentions have been implemented, alongside manual online status selection, and redesigned presence indicators to enhance accessibility for individuals with color blindness.
• Customization options for messages have been enriched with the inclusion of italics and underline, as well as the ability to group chats and communities for better management.
• The AnyTime feature now includes an option to put communications on hold, adjusting video quality based on actual needs.

For Windows (version 9.7.11):

• AnyDesk Meeting now allows for putting meetings on hold and has incorporated @everyone mentions, manual online status selection, along with new presence indicators optimized for individuals with color blindness.

For macOS (version 9.7.3):

• Users can now manually set visibility and online status for AnyDesk One Chat, as well as send notifications to large groups within the platform.

Bug Fixes

Across all platforms, several bug fixes have been implemented:

• Issues causing unexpected crashes have been resolved, particularly those related to scrolling in feeds, plugin configuration, and version discrepancies between client and server.
• User interface improvements have been made, enhancing entry navigation and scroll positions when interacting with saved messages.
• Specific issues in AnyDesk Meeting have been addressed, such as reactivating the camera after errors and audio playback following network interruptions.
